Data processed
I only process the data needed for our exchanges and for the support I provide:
- your contact details (name, email address, phone number) and the content of your messages when you contact me by phone, email or WhatsApp;
- the information you provide when booking an appointment through Calendly (name, email, chosen date and time, any answers to the form);
- during the support process, the information you choose to share, which may concern your health or private life;
- the data needed for invoicing.
This website has no forms, no audience-measurement tools and no advertising cookies.
Purposes and legal bases
- Answering your enquiries and arranging appointments: pre-contractual steps and performance of the support (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Following up the support process: performance of the contract and, for health-related information, your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(b) and 9(2)(a) GDPR).
- Meeting accounting and tax obligations: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
Professional confidentiality
Everything shared in the course of the support is covered by professional confidentiality and is not disclosed to anyone without your consent, except where required by law.
Retention periods
- Enquiries that do not lead to support: 12 months at most.
- Session notes: for the duration of the support, and then for the period required by the applicable legal and ethical obligations.
- Invoicing records: for the period required by Belgian accounting and tax law.
Recipients and services used
Your data is never sold or passed on. Some technical services may process it on my behalf:
- Calendly (appointment booking), Google (email and the website's fonts) and WhatsApp (messaging), some of whose servers are located outside the European Union. These transfers are covered by the safeguards provided for in the GDPR (EU-US Data Privacy Framework adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses);
- the website's hosting provider, for its technical operation.
When you open the booking page, Calendly applies its own privacy policy and may set its own cookies.
Your rights
You may at any time request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, the restriction of processing, object to it, request data portability or withdraw your consent. Write to vdsvientosdelsur@gmail.com; I will reply within one month.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels — www.dataprotectionauthority.be.
Security
I take reasonable measures to protect your data against loss, unauthorised access or disclosure.
